No spark issue with lonchin 110cc

Hello,
I have a ATV, brand nmae is AEON COBRA2-R100.
I just noticed recently that my battery ran down, and can not anymore use teh electric starter to fire up the engine. After series of checkings with multimeter, I noticed that the output of the rectifier/regulator (red wire then hooked to the battery terminal with a fues), only reads 6.8 volts, my battery is 12 volts. The plug and socket for the rectifier and the one from the generator side was intact, no loose connection. Where can be the problem? is it on the ac generator itself which gave me a reading of about for only 6 volts? or the rectifier?. Parts here in Kuwait are scarce, so before I will order one if a defective part is sure, I will first check the suspected parts. Thanks in advance. By the way, my ac generator wirings are WHT-Red, BLK-Red, WHT , Y-R, BLACK. (5 wires).

Before you go further, try to jump start it or get a new or recharg the battery. Do you get spark?

I would suspect that you have a bad battery, is it old? Usually the the battetries i cars, atv, mc does not like to get empty. Meassure the volt on the battery when it runs, it should show a bit more voltage with running engine. Stop it and meassure again whats the reading?

Hello,
I run the ATV after I recharged the battery with a battery charger.
Then, measured the battery voltage, reads 13.2v, this is a new battery.
When connected to the electrical system of the ATV, the engine fired well, after sometime, I disconnected the fuse from the rectifier going to the Battery (+) terminal, the reading of the red wire from the regulator was agian only 6.8Volts DC, I disconnected the rectifier plug, and measured the AC Voltage from the stator, only reads, about 5.8 volts AC. Everytime I will start the ATV, before starting, I tried to recharge the battery the next day, and after 4 hours, It can start the engine. Would it be that the problem is really on the stator, not giving enough AC voltage to supply the rectifier to have an output of only 6.8 volts DC?
Best regards,...

To find out if the alternator is working right you just fire up the engine and check if the voltage across the battery is above 13V, preferably with the lights on. Over 15v and the regulator is faulty. No difference when the engine is running or stopped and either the regulator or stator is faulty.
