Ok here is what i have
6 pin cdi....
orange, yellow, blk / red, green/wht, blue/wht out of stator cover....
Should that carb i bought be the correct one? After looking at the carb on the ATV looks like it was fooled around with a bunch of red gasket goo around the bowl. I figured a new carb was a good move?
Thx for the help

So you have spark and it fires up with briefly with a bit of starter fluid. Am I right?
If so sounds like fuel issues to me. So a new carburetor seems like a logical starting place.

You will need to see light thru the pilot jet and the main jet.. and thru the little holes in the side of the main jet holder.. after cleaning Id set the fuel screw at 2 1/2 turns out and see if it starts..

Everything needs to be removed from the carb for the cleaning.. pilot jet, main jet and holder, needle, fuel screw... carb cleaner needs to be sprayed thru all the holes you can see in the carb.. especially the little ones..

The only other screw that needs to be adjusted is the idle screw.. can be adjusted once its running.. maybe turned up 1/2 a turn as you try to start it..
Id also move the clip on the needle to the bottom groove.. (the groove closest to the point)
