Default Yamati 110cc??? Maybe???

Hi,
I bought over the weekend a Yamati 110cc ATV for $100.00. excellent physical condition after i cleaned the mud off it. But the guy that had it before me did some hack work to the electrical. After I did some research i found that is may be a 150cc ( dj162fmj) can anyone confirm? It has reverse, manual clutch it looks like a raptor. I am looking to rewire this to be sure nothing was messed with. Can anyone provide a wire diagram? I cant find a VIN on the frame , just on engine.

Found the VIN.... by the way it is a shaft drive.

Many Thx....

Very few of the 150cc quads had that style of engine.. most like that are 200's and 250's.. I have seen a early Jetmoto 150 that had that style of engine and was shaft driven.. I would look for am number at the base of the cylinder... or stamped on the bottom left side of the engine(sort of behind the shift lever)..

About 90% of the quads that come from China used the Yamaha 80cc Raptor plastic..

I have no clue where you would find a wiring diagram for that specific quad.. Id guess Lynn would have a generic one..

thx!... this is what I have found....

DJ162FMJ
*050908290*

I alos found the VIN after looking it up it says it is a china brand 2005 year.. so a year newer!.. I also wired the basics and it has great spark.. but not firing unless i juice it with a bit of starting fluid. I am thinking of just getting a new carb. But the question comes back to what is the engine size? I hope those number make sense...

Has anyone heard of Yamati?

Thanks!

Those numbers are from the side of the engine?

The vin on all of mine has the engine size in it.. in the first 6 digits..

Also is there anything stamped at the base of the cylinder?

What size carb is on it? PZ 24? PZ 27? PZ 30? that will hint at what size engine you have.. I would clean the carb you have before buying a new one..

go look at your CDI and determine how many pins it has. that'll be the first thing Lynn will ask for to help you out on your wiring deficiencies. then he may ask what color are the wires coming out of the stator. post those answers and that'll give you and him a head start.
click this hyperlink and read it. that'll help you determine more information that Lynn may want from you.
