you have 2 bolts on the flange on the intake to the jug. remove those. pay attention to it to see if you got an O-Ring. note the orientation so you put it back together correctly. once carb is in your hand and out of the quad, take the float bowl off. you'll see the float/needle valve.

O-Ring is on flange to carb connection. if applicable, you gotta get it right or you'll have a vacuum leak later.

double check your crankcase oil to make sure it ain't contaminted with gasoline. if it is contaminated, change oil. you don't want to blow it up in between your legs while you're sitting on it.

when choke is on its limiting the amount of air into the motor and more fuel, when the choke is off it allows more air, if the carby is blocked in any way it wont supply the fuel, don't get impatient now considering you are so close, take the carb out and disassemble it, read jasters sig, if its worth doing, do it right the first time, take the extra hour or so now to make sure its right.

A short story about doing it right the first time, few weeks ago out riding, one of my nephews mates brought a bike along, chain was very loose, I offered him tools from my toolsbox to set chain tension, his mates all said nah it will be all right, he started it up, rode for 5 minutes, chain jumped off, and also destroyed the magneto pick up in the crank case, his day of riding was over...it all could have been prevented by being patient and making it right

unscrew the cable at top, then its the 2 nuts/bolts that hold it to the manifold, also your front left tyre is on backwards :-P

ps also remove the choke cable
