Default 2nd post No Power Chinese 90cc

Ok I may be asking too much of the 90cc motor to drag my 300lb butt though river sand (Green Quad), but my son is only 80 lbs and the Baja gets (Blue Quad) stuck in very little sand it just does not have the umph to move him. I end up having to push him out is this just beyond the design of this atv or could something else be done?

Carb adjustment
I have read this post
https://atvconnection.com/forums/chi...-sunl-etc.html

It seems like the green one is running too lean then it gets hot and dies after a while. I had to take the carb apart and use carb cleaner and compressed air to get all the lacquer out of it and open all the passages the fuel filter is kind of smashed and I added SeaFoam<--I do this with all my small gas engines.

The Blue quad idles starts and runs really good except for not being able to go though light sand.

for reference here is my first post

All Chinese quads are jetted lean from the factory and need bigger jets to run well. They are all set up like this to pass EPA and or CARB regulations. Bigger jets will help you out..

Have you changed to NGK spark plugs? or anything but chinese?

Well that explains why it's got little power.
I'm out on this one.

I have no idea if they are 2 or 4 my guess would be 4 stroke The plugs are new and not Chinese i believe the green is a champion and the blue is a NKG.
Sot the general consensus is to fiddle with the carb metering rods??

All you can do to richen the carb without changing jets is turn the fuel screw(smaller of 2 screws on carb) out 2.5 to 3 turns and put the clip on the needle in the bottom groove..
