110 Carb issues
Hi guys, new here.
Bought a Loncin 110 of a guy on Craigslist. Got it running, but I have a major issues with it running only on full choke or half choke. I've disassembled the carb and cleaned it ran b12 chemtool through it and it still will only run like that. Dumps so much fuel in it it runs out the bottom drain on fuel bowl.
Also ive had a huge issue with the throttle cable not pulling the pintle valve up for the main jet. Any ideas to fixing this?

When a engine only runs with the choke on..something in the the carb is plugged..maybe a jet.. more than likely its a clogged pilot jet and or the pilot circuit. It takes carb cleaner and compressed air and some times small drill bits to clean out jets. You must be able to see light thru the jets length wise and the holes in the side of the main jet holder need to be clear. You also need to have air and or carb cleaner going through the pilot circuit.. the space the fuel screw came out of thru to the pilot jet came out of the bottom of the carb..
The fuel running out of the over flow is not helping anything.. thats because the float bowl height is set wrong or the needle is worn..Float height is set so the float is level or parallel with the edge the float bowl sits on. this is checked with the carb upside down.
