2007 BAJA 110 No Spark
#1
Ok guys looking for a little confirmation here. I ran the standard no spark test and these were the results
1) 358 ohms
2) 118 ohms
3) 43.8 v AC
4) .235 v AC
A) 12.48 ohms
B) 1-3 v AC
Leads me to believe it is a bad CDI box?

There is no such thing as a standard spark test, so we need to know what those figures refer to. However if point 4) is the trigger coil voltage, it seems a bit low at .235v. Trouble is you don't know if this is enough to trigger a spark in the CDI or not. I don't go much on ohm checks as they tend to wander all over the place, open circuit where it should have some, or no resistance = bad. Dead short where there should be resistance or open circuit = bad. Anything in between, who knows?
