Default Yamaha grizzly 450 engine noise
Need help. I just bought this thing and it sounds horrible. Is it a easy inexpensive fix, or am i doomed. Good power, just horrible metallic sound.

Sounds like a valve problem, though engine noises are difficult to identify. I would check and adjust the valves, for a start.

Default Valves
Yeah after reading a bunch of threads and litening to motors online with valve problems im leaning toward a valve adjustment..hopefully this quiets it down a bit.
