dug out my dads old three wheeler and got it running after putting a new carb and air filter spark plug and coil on it but dies after warming up and won't start back up for a few minutes I have checked the fuel vent and made sure there is still spark after it dies I am just at lost as what to do at this point any help would be great thanks

 

Check the obvious, like is there a good flow of fuel to the carb. Make sure the fuel/air ratio is correct, if the choke is stuck or jets set wrong, a rich mixture will stop the engine until it cools again. Are the valve clearances OK? Put the old plug back in, and then try the old coil. If none of this works, you may be getting a poor spark when hot, due to the CDI or the stator or trigger coils breaking down.
