110 TAOTAO boulder b1 carb issue
#1
My sons TAOTAO 110 was bogging really bad when you weNt from idle to WOT. Would even die sometimes. I got tired of messing with it and purchased a new carb off of Amazon. Got it installed and it starts up really quick and idles good however it does have a slight surge to it.
Now I have the opposite problem though. It doesn’t bog at all but when coming off the throttle it dies. Is have adjusted the air fuel needle many times and cant seem to get it right. I can set the idle high and it doesn’t do it. Any thoughts?

If you must mess with the idle jet. With a warm engine, it is out until the revs start to drop, then back in, revs should rise, then drop as you screw further, then screw back to half way between. If it doesn't run right with the idle mixture set, try the idle jet from the old carb in the new one.
