Ice bear 110 started stauling after being ran out of gas
#1
The ATV is a year, and a half old. We have always had to run it with the choke wide open until it warmed up, and then you could do half choke, and be fine. A few days ago the boy got on it before doing the usual checks fuel, oil, and the other basics. He shortly after ran out of gas, and we couldn't get it to restart. The battery was dead so I replaced it, and the plug. The ATV would fire up as usual run with the choke wide open like always, but after 5-10-15 min. would die, and not restart again, and stay running. I talked to the shop I bought it from they said try spraying carb cleaner into the carb with it running, and see if it helps. The starting fluid didn't help, and today it would not start at all. Fuel filter flows well, but the petcock seemed to slow it down. I eventually hooked the fuel line directly to the carb, and no luck. I did check the plug, and spark before making any of the fuel changes,or checks. Just in case it comes up we always run shell 93 octane in the ATV we aren't in a real dusty area so the original air filter looks good. The ATV gets started,or road at least once a month. I'm assuming the carb is shot, but any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Clean the carb out. Remove float bowl.remove jets, blow them and the holes they came from out with compressed air, check you can see through jets and refit them. Bike should then run properly, choke to start, then run OK without choke. Make sure plug hasn't been fouled with all that choke and spraying stuff into the engine.
