Hello AGAIN ugh!!! Still working on this tao tao 125 quad. My first issue was not spark then solved that by running a ground to the frame where the coil mounts. Second problem slow to turn over like a dead battery but replaced battery 2 times with new one and new starter found bad starter solenoid which was new so went back to old one. Current problem now I have random spark. Only sparks every now and then any ideas anyone????

 

Change the plug, if that doesn't work do the help diagnose stator tests, in the sticky at the top of this section. A bad earth can wreck the CDI so that is a possibility, but test the stator and coil first, as CDIs are what must be wrong if all the wires to it test out as right.
