Hello!
First time poster on this forum as I am having a difficult time locating parts for my kids Aeon Cobra 50cc 4x2 ATV. I am looking for an output shaft. I have also seen them be called a final drive shaft. I have included pictures below. The only markings I can find on the case are also listed below.
The ATV was given to me broken and I hate seeing things in half decent condition go to waste. Id like to get it fixed up rather than part it out or send it to the junkyard. Below is a picture and measurements of the bent final drive shaft.
Looks like they use the 50cc version of the Minarelli engine. You may have trouble as it's main use is in scooters and they could use a different output shaft. However a quick google fetched this up, https://www.racing-planet.co.uk/seco...4#.YlPVbNQrLs0 the "long" refers to the belt box.

Thanks for the response! What you found is very similar to what I’ve been finding. There are many look alikes but it’s proving very difficult to find one the same. I’ve already purchased a look alike off of eBay that appeared identical. When I received it, the grooved part of the shaft was 2mm larger than the original. My gears and forward reverse selector wouldn’t slide on. I brought this look alike shaft to a machine shop to see if they could turn it however they said it would not be possible.
It is possible Aeon's version of that engine is different to everyone else's. I had trouble with a GS Moon version of the GY6 engine, they had altered cylinder head bolt spacing so standard gaskets for GY6 engines wouldn't fit.
My link does state it is for Aeon 50 but one wonders if they know. A machine shop with a crank grinder would be able to grind the shaft down but then would the splines be deep enough? Also, if case hardened, grinding would have gone through the hardened surface. New "short motors" are $200 on Alibaba, but again, one wonders if a scooter output shaft is the same.
