Hello all. Im new to this fourm and I ahve a couple questions. I have an oppertunity to buy a Dinli 90cc quad for a very good price. It however does not shift into nuetral. I have been told it ran just fine before this happened but I have no other information as to how this happened. It is stuck in forward. I would like to know what im getting myself into. If anyone has any info on what might be the cause and how hard it might be to fix and what kind of time am I looking at fixing this that would be awesome. Thank you very much.

It could be anything from a bent fork on the end of the shift shaft..Pretty easy to find and fix.. to a broken shift drum.. Fairly hard because the cases would need to be split... more than likely its the bent fork on the end of the shift shaft..

 

Is there somewhere that would tell me how to fix it? Can I buy somthing like a hayns manual for the quad? How much are forks and where are they available? Thanks, Josh

 

Manuals are few and far between for these things.. I would look around on you tube for a how to video.

Is this a 2 or 4 stroke engine? Im not real familiar with the Dinli atv's.

 

Where can I buy transmission parts or any parts for a helix? Can I use say Polaris parts for it? There has to be a cross reference for parts from another brand. Please help. Josh
