Default Dumb Question - Where is Neutral

So, I have been trying to get my jetmoto 110 atv to start (see yesterday's post) but today I just have a really dumb question... Where is neutral? Is there no shifting is it all automatic? I just bought it and haven't gotten it to run yet so I haven't actually run one yet so I was just wondering if my reason for no start is if I am in gear? OR if there is no shift and it's all auto how does it get into gear?

Is there a shift lever on the left side(while sitting on the quad) of the engine?

No, no shift lever - at least not that I know of, on all our four wheelers we had growing up it was always where your left foot would be, and then we had a couple of automaticss but they always had a shift control on the bike kind of on top on the left side of the gas tank - no matter what make it was always there. But on this little jet moto I don't see any kind of gear shift anywhere.

Also, I put in a new spark plug, and cleaned the carb but still can't get it to start. it turns over and sometimes I get a second of it trying to run but it never takes off and runs. It has backfired a couple of times as well. Any thoughts?

sorry I meant the auto-shifts were always on the right of the gas tank, not the left... but again, this one I don't see anything anywhere...

If there is no shift lever its a auto clutch/1 speed engine..

Try spraying a little starting fluid or carb cleaner in the carb(take off the air filter to do this) as you crank it.. if it runs at all... the carb has still got something plugged..
