for a chinese quad, that's a fairly good looking quad! as for your apt complex, i'd move. get a house with a garage/shed for storage. unless you don't like to have equity in what you're paying for.....but then again, it's your choice.....

thanks i really like the 4wheeler so far.
i used to have a house . with a garage and a shed and 4 trucks. but i also have an exwife whos lawyer cost more than mine did. i wound up with the clothes on my back and my ramcharger.
im moving into a duplex with a garage this month. so ill have room for my toys again.
and some time next year im going to start looking into another house

What is the number under the shifter lever (you mean clutch?)?
If the motor is a clone of another name brand like Yamaha then you can use aftermarket parts for those quads. As far as anything by the Kandi name, I doubt you will find something since its a Chinese quad.

No the gear selector lever on the engine ... the numbers under that
What do those numbers mean? Are they like a identifying mark for the engine the same way a car engine has the matching numbers stamped into it?

Welcome to the forum stamp!
All of the push rod style Chinese 250's are in the 226cc-230cc range.. the only true 250's are the ohc style engines. The numbers on the engine are for identification purposes.
I wouldnt add air to the shock.. if anything add nitrogen..
