Talking Need Help Fast, Is this Quad any good? Worth the cash???

Hi all!
I'm new here (First post!), and I really dont know much about atv's. I've ridden them before, simply adored it, and now I would like to buy one. I would like to spend the very least amount of cash as possible. Now I know new name brand atv's are out of the picture cash-wise for me, and possibly a used one would be good, but I have yet to find one (?)
After some research, chinese atv's entered my horizon. I plan to do mellow trail riding, just dirt, nothing too technical. From what I've heard, and read on this website, Roketa Chinese Atv's are a leading brand for chinese atv's, and I visited their site, and loved the way they looked! Otherwise, I really have no idea about their reliability. I plan to take care of my atv, not make it go through hell, and back
Here's the atv that I have found, Gazed at and wanted.
ROKETA,atv, exercise & fitness,dune buggies,scooter,gokart,dirtbike,moped,utility vehicle,motorcycle,electric&gas scooter,water craft,golf cart,bike,quad,offroad,motorsport,jet, sand rails, moped, snowmobiles,helmet,accessories,generator,porcelain do
Is it any good? Looks good to me :/
Any recommendations for something better???
Help a fellow out, will ya?
thanks!

EDIT:
IS THIS BLASTEER ANY GOOD?

My guess is you're a dealer or you haven't really read this website.

Chinese quads are not for everyone. They need a lot of maintenance and a lot of fixing. Are you up to it? Most of the tough problems will be with the running gear. The 150cc GY6 engine is solid, and parts for that are cheap and plentiful everywhere.

If after a year of "mellow trail riding" you find your swing arm bushings (for example) are toast will you take this in stride and handle it? What if you can't find swing arm bushings? Can you machine your own (or know someone who can)?

Are you considering buying mail order (bad idea in my opinion), or from a brick and mortar store? Does the brick and mortar store have a service center? What parts do they stock? How long have they been in business? This is all part of the research. What will you do if you buy mail order, and they tell you to fly a kite when you complain about a bent axle, missing plastic, etc?

I have really enjoyed my chinese quad (also a GY6 150cc engine) over 3 years and 2500 miles. But I've had problems. I think all these problems have been really minor, but I see in this forum others who are stumped with much simpler problems that I would consider so trivial that they aren't worth mentioning.

I disagree with Scootergptx. I really don't think you're trolling the group trying to steer business to your new mail order quad site. Though it has been tried so may times before I can understand the initial suspicion. But even if you are a new vendor schilling the site I think both our posts will take some of the wind out of your sails...

But I must also say: You are really impatient. You post, wait three hours (???) and then wonder in a second post why no one has responded. No one here is a paid to respond. All volunteer their time. We do this in between jobs and family as a public service, so you should be prepared to wait much longer than just 3 hours for a response...

I'll volunteer my opinion
you can paint a big pile of dog shat your favorite color and plant pretty flowers on top of it... guess what- it's still crap. You're buying a chinese atv based because of the way it looks then you better put some money aside for parts, because it will break within the first few weeks and you will need parts.

reliability & chinese atv's go together about as well as oil & water- spend a few hundred extra dollars and buy a good used brand name atv- your *** will thank you.

unless scoot is right and you are a dealer, in which case, keep buying all those chinese atv's and then go bankrupt trying to sell them here...

I'm not a dealer; I'm 15 years old (just about).
Thank you for the responses, didn't know immediate responses were not appreciated, and I get your point.
Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.
Many used name brand quads can be had now for low cost.
I see many under $1000.
Save up and buy something dependable.

""paint a pile-o-poo" LMAO!!

if you are stuck on buying an "off brand", then stick with Eton. i've honestly had the best luck with them, parts are more readily available than other chinese brands. Eton frames are very strong and can take abuse, most of the Etons i have worked on have been put through the mill and still survive. i believe they're polaris based clones. Etons have a great, simple CVT system that delivers plenty of power. BUT, for the price of a new "off brand", you can get a decent "name brand". the choice is yours. i have a mix. i have japanese and chinese.

Welcome to thew forum Atvnoobert!

How good are you with a wrench? Or.. how good do you want to be with a wrench? Im a little older than you at 51... I was around for a minibike craze in the 70's that was sort of like chinese quads now... lots of machines.. most looked alike or similar.. only a hand full were any good... I had a ok minibike back than... learned a lot working on that little thing.. not sure if I would have learned as much had my dad got me a Honda Mini Trail..

Bottom line is...The ATV's from China will need more wrenching time than the ones(new and used) from Japan.. and most of the rubber parts will peel off of it within 18 mos..

oh, forgot to mention, sometimes a name brand ain't worth buying. you have to be wary on that front too. the blaster you mentioned appears to have a few physical flaws. such as, tie rod end problems. WOW, that's out of alignment. when you're going to buy a quad, use your local want ads, such as thrifty nickel, Craigslist, radio programs, etc....be cautious about machines on ebay. you need to be able to look and touch them. hear them run and possibly test drive it. i'm more skeptical than others that's why i don't buy machines via ebay. i want fairly local machines so i can go look at them. don't be duped and taken advantage of when it comes to all brands of quads. Lynn is correct, chinese brands take more maintenance so don't get discouraged when that happens. japanese brands are very reliable, but when they break, parts are more expensive. it's a two-edged sword. but as stated earlier, they're deals out there for both "brands" of machines......good luck.
And utlimately, it's your choice, it's your money. do what makes you happy. you're the one who has to ride it, fix it, pay for, and enjoy it.
