There were two different Honda 350s one made in the 1980s but the model from about 2000 to 2006 is the one that Odes copied, they have HN4 and HN5 in the Honda part numbers.

So I now have third gear dropping on its own. I gear up through 1st and 2nd but when I go into third gear, it pops out of gear in its own accompanied by several ‘jolts’. The column shifter is brand new. Removed the electrical shifter motor and it looks fine. Haven’t taken off the clutch case cover as I really don’t way to remove the engine at this point.

Was thinking of installing a Honda clutch pack though but when I last was able to speak to Jerry from Canada, believe he said nothing Honda , transmission-wise will work and the best bet was to fabricate a manual shifter to the external shift lever located on the left side of the engine.

Was thinking about just replacing the entire engine too but can’t find them anywhere.

Jerry- PM me the price you would sell me of your complete engines for ok??

Hey Jerry, I am also after some parts for my 2007 ODES 400 UTV, this forum has been very handy.. Question do you have a stator from this engine. If you dont will the Honda 350 version fit? I have a honda dealer in Warrnambool, Vic Australia but dont want to order a 180 dollar part that wont fit mine.. Any help would be greatly appreciated... :-)

Electric Parts from Honda not fit Odes .some engine and suspension parts is fit yes i have Stator .but i did ask you where are you located no respond . also i sent you my home and cell number but no respond . any way yes i have and to let you know Odes Does Not make anymore 400 cc that is why i get lots of parts last few years . if you like contact me to see what we should do

Im after some parts and info.. Ive got the engine running now.... It had a wire off the Stator see attached pic, to be more specific it had a electric connector elbow and that was broken in the rubber and you couldn't

ECU 400

Suspension

3 control modules

Stator wire off

Stator wire on :-)
see it.. Once I fixed that it starts like a treat now.. However the gear changer on the steering wheel doesn't work. Question does the ECU 400 see attached pic control the gear changes, and if so would the machine not run at all if it was faulty.. There are 3 Modules the CDI (Replaced) the ECU and another module see pic.. Have you got these modules in stock and also do you have the mini suspension connectors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im not sure how I contact you, I sent my email address but I never heard back so im assuming you never got it? (cwalsh607 @ yahoo . com .au) Im from Victoria, Australia

Ah ive discovered that I need the electric shift module (possibly) I would assume the motor part of the system are pretty tough.. Will wait to hear from you Gerry
