Default 500 Clutch Interchangable w/325 TB Clutch?

I have a question. Now that I installed my clutch kit in my Scrambler, my dad was wondering if we could take the weights, two springs, and helix off my Scrambler, and install it on his 00 325 TrailBoss. Any help will be appreciated.

I am pretty certain that parts from a any non-ebs clutch will fit any non-ebs clutch. And any parts from an ebs clutch will fit an ebs clutch. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

OK, now on to my next question. Are the springs stiffer and are the weights different from mine to his? And would this cause his to accel a little better? thank you

I pretty sure that the clutches are set up differently. All I could say is give it a try and see what happens. The stock scrambler settings are probably set up more aggressively that the stock trailboss settings. It may make a difference. Couldn't hurt.

As long as you change everything, like you said the springs, weights and helix. Yes it will work unless it is EBS, but he may not like it and it may not work as well as it did for the Scrambler, but it is worth a shot and won't hurt anything. Yes, they are set up totally defferent, the Scrambler is much more aggressive because it is a little sportier than the Trailboss. Wait, I just checked Partsland and the only difference between the two set-ups are the weights in the front and the spring in the rear clutch. The spring in the front and the helix are the same ones. You could try changing the one spring and the weights and see what happens. It may backshift a little quicker, but probably not a huge difference.

Stock for stock the springs are the same in both machines. All your dad needs to do is put in a white polaris spring and see if he likes it.
