Do you mean how to remove the large nut holding the clutch on?

If so- pull the spark plug, and push some clean rope into the cylinder to keep the motor from turning over. Get the appropriate sized socket- 30mm I think, and yank it off. As for the torque to re-install, I always just snugged it up (yeah, that's a technical term) Probably about 50ft lb.

There are no plates in the clutch. 2 shoes inside a drum. Looks much like regular old drum brakes.

Are you modifying the clutch?

oh, sorry, ofcourse I meant the clutch shoes, not plate =)
I have already removed it and are now putting it back together, I was thinking of modyfying the clutch shoes, but after they told me they
charge 250$ for a new clutch ***. I dont wanna ruin it.
Now Im going to give the carb, piston, cylinder, intake and pipe a go.

Thanks for the help

Regards Evert

Whoever wanted to charge you $250 for a clutch ***. was giving it to you in the assembly. You can buy a complete clutch assembly for $100.78 at the Bike Bandit.
