Banshee Clutch!..Rings

Default Banshee Clutch!..Rings

When i took my old clutch out it had the rubber rings the coushin rings.. All the clutches im looking at dont have them thay just have the fibers and the metal. Do i need the coushin rings? or do they just come stock.

Any info let me kno... thanks

the aftermarket system don't use the coushin rings. i asked the same question my dealer, when i put a n clutch in mine.

Thats sweet, So all i need to do is get the fibers, and the metal plates and its ready?... Also if someone knows what the spring bolts on the presure plate are supose to be torqued at let me kno... I dont have a manual for my shee..

He's right,you don't need em'.As far as torque specs,I don't have any.Just get em' snug,DON'T overdo it.They are made so that the spring pressure holds them in.Hope this helps.

Thanks, another thing how do i go about cleaning the case out where the clutch is.. This is my first clutch replacement.. Do i just get like some brake clean or something and spray it out becuase i see a bunch of like clutch under the basket in the case and stuff... Or if there is any thing else i should know before i out the new ones in.. I got all the old clurches out..

Yes that will work fine but you may want to change the fluid after the first ride because theres still gonna be some residue in the trans case.Make sure you soak the clutches in oil for about 30-45 minutes before you install em'(fibers).

How do u drain the trans oil.. I got all new for it when i replace do i chage it againa fter that?...

Theres a 17mm bolt in the bottom of the motor,thats the drain plug.Drain it out,put the bolt back in,don't overtighten,and refill through the dipstick.
