getting carb rebuilt today questions?
#1
i am taking it to the dealer the choke is stuck solid it wont move a bit and i have tried to move it so i am taking it down to the dealer and have him fix it my question is what jets are suppose to be in there? i wanna make sure the guy i baught it from didnt change them, i need the main jet size needle clip position and the specs for the idle mixture and are there any other screws i can check the adjustment on? i live in minnesota and it got down to 34 last night so maybe i should go down a couple of sizes on the main any suggestions? thanks fellas
maybe someone has a good used stock carb they wouldnt mind gettin rid of for a nominal fee?

Stock main is 165.
Stock needle position is fourth from the top.
Idle mixture screw should be somewhere around 3-3.5 turns out.
Not sure on the stock pilot. I believe Bomb changed between certain model years.

I think the pilot is a 40, and with the cooler weather you should go up on jetting instead of down.
My stock carb had a pretty rough choke too. I disassembled it and did some work on the grooves on the choke rod, helped alot, then did it some more and it wouldn't stay choked. It don't take much.
