Good bye Polaris!
#1
I am now officially polaris exempt. I drove to Dallas saturday and traded the scrambler for a 250R. I dont know why the guy really wanted to trade, but it was ok with me. It is an 86 model and has a nice list of aftermarket parts that is worth more than the Polaris itself. An ESR 265 powervalve top end, hinson quick change clutch cover, Laeger swingarm, dominator axle, PRP extended a-arms, chromoly steering stem with anti-vibe, new plastic, and other things I know I am missing. The trade was straight across and the only thing I have to do is redo the top end. He ran it a little lean and stuck the rings to the piston. $125 and I'll be in business. This will be my wife's rider bike, and now she'll be the proud owner of 2 Honda's. As soon as I get it together we'll update the pics. Thanks,Bubba
