LT 80 Front Wheel Camber......Help!
#1
Hi All,
Recently put on the midwest mini 5" travel front shocks to give my son's front end a little help as his 1989 shocks were all but non-existent. After installation I noticed a pretty excessive amount of camber on the front wheels. I am running 2" per side wheel spacers as well. I have not measured the camber with an angle finder yet, but I can say it looks a bit odd. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions. I realize that there is really no way to adjust camber with the single a arm set up. Is there a "proper" amount of camber that should be run? I could tell you what to run for camber on a dirt late model, but when it comes to this thing I am scratching my quickly graying head!
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Lemme see here, you purchaced shocks for your LT80 that don't belong on a LT80 and there is a problem eh...hmmmmmm
LOL, anyways, The camber will look goofy. Nothing to do about it till I make my dual a-arm set-up.
I personally don't think his set-up/shocks are very good.
Gee, he didn't mention this before you bought it?

Funny how certain things get left out of a conversation when you are ordering parts asking if there are any drawbacks....oh well. They were cheaper than the other alternative for shock absorbers. I guess I will try them out for a while at least. How long untill you get your a-arm setup proven and marketed? I'll order two!

had the same problem those shocks suck when calling them they said it would be fine what a bunch of liars.well enough of bad mouthing i put james lucky =6 wide kit on front end that made the camber a little closer so for another 150.00 you can make your lt pretty sturdy in the front my kid loves his now.also the shocks they are selling look like pred 90 shocks .

I was told the same thing by them yesterday. That it was ok to run the way it is. I am not convinced at all, and in fact I feel that I threw away another 130.00. I might take your advice and buy the front end extenders, or just put the old shocks back on and wait for LT80 to make his double a arm set-up.

Hey can you guys send some pics of the LT's with these shocks (midwestmim) on. Would like to see how it sits. I was also one who was ready to buy the front shocks. Man I am glad you posted this! You saved me some $$.
