i have a raptor 350 and i just had a cam and high compression piston put in. i rode it for about an hour and took it easy varying the rpm's... then it just died... when i try to start it it makes a high pitched noise but the motor doesent turn over........i was riding in a good amount of snow and i keep it in a non heated garage idk if this matters..... plz help

 

So take it back to whoever installed the stuff and have them look it over.

thx...i found the problem....it is actually quite common with yamahas. what happen is one of the gears that the starter turns to start the motor got screwed up anit needs to be replaced....thx for the help ne ways
