Help, another scrammy belt problomb
#1
I have a 2000 polaris scrambler 500 4x4. I have shredded one belt already which caused a huge crack in my clutch cover. I put a new belt on and i rolled and the belt turned itself around so that the slick end was on the clutch and that other big thing. The belt then started to lose the thread. I put the new clutch cover on today and cleaned up the old belt a little bit to make it edible, went out for a test run and clunk clunk clunk. I slowly rode back home, took the cover back off and the belt turned it self around again just by riding down the street. I dont want to put the new belt i picked up today on and risk shredding that one if there is a problomb. Also, how easy should it be to put a belt on, should you just be able to slip it on over the clutch and everything by hand. I DON'T KNOW???????? I would appreciate some tips or advise, thanks.
