Default 1st ride w/ the new motor

well i finally got the ol sport running w/ the new motor rebuild and new suspension and got out for a ride before the snow landed around here. brand new rebuild, first hour easy on the throttle type riding...
holy schmoly! this thing's gonna tear UP!!!
Mummz The Word Racing did an awesome build.
there's a list of the mods on my page plus a couple of new pics. ran out of good weather so i didn't get the new fenders on.

Thats the sweetest looking 230 I have ever seen. Awsome job, get those plastics on and post some more pics. I wouldn't mind seeing alittle video footage either. How much $$$ do you have sunk into it?

18" of snow, subzero temps & unheated gararge.
pics & riding are def. on hold til springtime

Yeah you have a point, I dont think I would be doing a whole lot of riding either.

don't tell the wife but the new rims and plastic pushed the price a wee bit over 3 bones.
heck, everything on the bike is either new or rebuilt and it's been a fun project.
when i first bought it i wanted to do a showroom stock type of restoration
but when i found that +4" swingarm, i figured why not!
this thing's gonna embarass 350s and maybe worse...
