I don't use ramps, I just load my 400 in the back of my truck. Anyway, I was unloading it and the right front tire came off first and it dropped on its right side. On cement. Damage: Scratched plastic, sratched right front rim, bent brake lever, handle bars seem out of whack, and thumb throttle turned upside down. Oh, and a hurt wrist and pride. Anyway, I was wanting to replace the handle bars and clutch lever anyway...so my question...any advice on new brake lever..and maybe new clutch lever/perch?? Also, how hard is the work/installation?? Damn I'm mad at my self. Thanks, Drew.

Dennis Kirk will sell you a brake lever for about $7.99.A lot cheaper than stock!

Besides brake & clutch levers and handlebars, have you considered ramps also? Just wonderin'!

Never needed them before, but I guess I'll have to make an investment. Maybe I'm just getting weaker in my old age. It's pretty easy to get it in the back. The Sportsman is a little harder, but I can still lift it in the back (yeah, right). Also, I was able to bend the brake lever back to where it's pretty normal looking. Gives it a little character I suppose.

I load my quads in my pickup also. I just put the front end in first. That way I can sorta pull the back end out and set it down and then just grab the grab bar (how redundant) and pull it on out and let the front end bounce on the ground. It's putting them in is the bitch. I load one, stop for a beer, walk around, think about loading the second one, . . . . .after all, the second one is my wife's and she sure isn't helping me. ...

I made my own ramps out of 2x12s. They work great.
