gearing lt 80

Ok so its an newer lt 80 because the older ones came with 12/26 and the newer ones have 10/22. Now you have 13/27. Here is the gear ratios witht he different gear set ups.
13/27= 2:07
12/26=2:16
10/22=2:20
The 13/27 will give you the best top end and the 10/22 will give the best low end.

what gear set up do you think would be the best tack is 1.3 miles with 2 long straights and the rest are normal straichts with jumps and turns

For that long of a track, and with a stock motor, you will need to gear up. Somewhere around 14-15-16 front sprockets.
A reed may help slightly.
You may consider shaving the head .030 and removing 2 of the 6 front clutch rollers. This will bump up the compression and allow the clutch to have a slightly higher stall speed.
Study up before you waste alot of $$$ for bolt on things that don't help. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
