I have an 03 Grizz and have by-passed the diff lock override and now I would like to by-pass the reverse override. I have searched this topic but haven't found much help.

You need to look at the grizzhopper.com site.......don't let it confuse you....you just need to locate the green with white stripe wire and tap into it with a piece of wire and ground it out....

There are better ways....if you choose a switch or button....just check the site out

 

Sorry...but I was talking about 05' models.....03's should be similar but make sure for yourself

It works great. No problems with mine.

 

Youll see the flashing "00" when in reverse, but its normal when the safety function of the reverse is over ridden.
I preferr the jumper wire to the existing over ride button. That way if a newbie gets on the safety still works ( things can get out of hand in a hurry, when full throttle in reverse with the rev limiter over ridden). Its also convienent, to use the existing button, and its placed in a good spot.
