Hey guys I am about to purchase a white bros e series universal slip on muffler from ebay.Does anyone know if it will fit my 04 scrambler 500?I thought each muffler was designed for a specific atv will this work....THE AUCTION ENDS IN A FEW HOURS>>>PLEASE HELP

 

I looked it up on eBay, NO it will not work. You need the eyelets on the inlet end for the springs to hook onto & it's a slip in connection, the Polaris's are a ball 'n socket joint.

 

Or you can cut the original pipe and have it welded. I have an e series and that's what I did. They sent a clamp, but just felt better about the weld.

Bad news it the factory weld into the e series itself needs to be rewelded, again.

CATMAN i did bid on the muffler, figured i couldn't go wrong @150 bux. I did not win though, you have given good advise before but i am thick headed . Anyway which muffler do you think i should "slip on"lol

 

Get a White Bros. E-Series for a 97-current 500 Scrambler. Some places have stopped carrying them, but you can still find them. The biggest problem with the universal one was the wrong joint fitting.

 

Also check the Polaris website in the accessory section. Every now and then they have stuff that is really reduced in pricing. Pure Polaris pipe is really a White Bros. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
