2005 ATP330 - No Power Over 3000rpm
#1
Runs fine for 20 minutes or so then power just drops off. It doesn't stop running it just looses power over 3000rpm. It starts, idles and runs fine otherwise until the engine winds up past 3000rpm. When this happens there isn't enough power to move the vehicle. If I fully choke the engine I get just enough power to limp back to the shed. Occasionally this continues through to the next day, if not, the cycle repeats.
I have taken it to the dealership twice with it running this way, they have seen it running this way but by the time they get to fixing it it is running fine again. They can't seem to figure out what is causing it. They pull bits apart and check others without finding the problem then send me home with it where it falls over again.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? I have tried to contact Polaris by email without success, is there a complaints hotline out there?

I don't believe it's the fuel. I have changed out the fuel, checked the flow of the lines and the fuel ****. there is no smell of fuel when this happens and as I said even when this happens it starts, idles and runs fine up til 3000rpm. I thought it might be heat related also but even after it cools off, or for that matter, the next day the problem is still present at start up. I have read that on occasion the electronic reverse governing unit malfunctions but the dealer insists it is working properly. They say they have checked all the electronics and cleaned all connections but it continues.
