You'll need an 8mm, a 10mm and either a 3/4 or 7/8 as well as a small allen wrench (forgot what size)and a phillips screwdriver. You'll also need a tie strap to hold the sheave in place while you turn the nut. I'd personally ask Hauck how much it costs for them to take the sheave apart, clean it and then regrease it and put it back together. A tub of the grease is like $18...

You don't need to take the belt off. You need to get a ratchet strap and wrap the line around the sheave then hook it on the footpeg so that when you turn the sheave it bites down and holds it so you can loosen the nut.

got the sheave off now what parts do isend to hauck is it just the empty sheave if anybody had pictures of what goes that would be great i'm hoping to have it cleaned and off to hauck tomorrow
