wolvy450 clutch ?

Default wolvy450 clutch ?

how hard is it to remove clutch sheave and do ineed any special tools i'm looking to send it to hauck to have it machined

impact gun and a socket set , and allen wrench is all you need as far as i remember

You'll need an 8mm, a 10mm and either a 3/4 or 7/8 as well as a small allen wrench (forgot what size)and a phillips screwdriver. You'll also need a tie strap to hold the sheave in place while you turn the nut. I'd personally ask Hauck how much it costs for them to take the sheave apart, clean it and then regrease it and put it back together. A tub of the grease is like $18...

its quite a bit easier if you have an impact gun, and $18 for grease, i paid 6 and only used maybe 1/4 of the tub

how do i take get slack in the belt to get it off ?

You don't need to take the belt off. You need to get a ratchet strap and wrap the line around the sheave then hook it on the footpeg so that when you turn the sheave it bites down and holds it so you can loosen the nut.

got the sheave off now what parts do isend to hauck is it just the empty sheave if anybody had pictures of what goes that would be great i'm hoping to have it cleaned and off to hauck tomorrow

This is not exact, but a good representation of what you need to send off.

Take the rollers out.. clean the sheave and send just the primary sheave.

thanks i sent my sheave out friday to hauck can't wait to get it back and see for myself what all the buzz is about
