I bought a 2005 blaster. I know it used to run awesome because i bought it off a buddy. Problem is that it refuses to start. It is not spark because i am getting plenty. Its not compression either. What he did was drove it into a mud whole and REVed it to no end i guess. But it seems like the cylinder is fine. When i kick it it will not turn over. If i push start it n dump the clutch it will try to turn over and sputter but will die. Could it possibly be the clutch? is anything else on the bike prone to breaking down? please help me. possible hydro lock, i'd suggest taking the exhaust pipe off, putting the bike on its front end and then try and move the kick starter. if water or anythig else besides gas comes out then that was your problem. if not then put your exhaust back on. if it was the clutch then you would feel the bike move forward everytiem you kicked it. even if the clutch was completly gone it would still try and kick over beings if there was no clutch then it would be just like neutral. hope this helps

 

Possibly water in the gas or carb. Try fresh gas and drain the carb bowl.
