Front hub engagement trouble
#1
I have read alot of post on the front hub problem
and have not had any success in fixing mine either. They engage automatically when you spin the rear tires in two wheel drive. The only thing i can't understand
is if you take the hubs apart and pull the armature plates from the magnets and put them back together it will work fine until you use the
AWD button. It acts like the magnet is not demagnitizing all the way because the armature plate is kind of stuck until you pull it away.
The outter magnet pole is suppose to be ajustable. Does anyone know how to adjust it?
That's about the only thing i haven't tried.

To adjust it, you just tap on it using a non-marring punch. The outer sleeve should be able to slide in & out. Adjust it as clost to even as humanly possible or so there is a gap of .001 when holding a straightedge across from the outer to inner magnet poles. Good luck.

this whole front hub thing is disturbing. polaris has to know they have a problem with this and it should be a recall!!! is this the price we have to pay for true all wheel drive? i wish i could put lockout hubs on it like a truck!!!!!!
