adjusting rear shock on 2001 Polaris Scrambler 500 2x4
#1
Can the rear shcok be adjusted? If so, how? Even with a 100 lb person riding the rear end squats pretty low. If it can be adjusted then how do we know how much to adjust it? Any help appreciated.

Lift the rear end up to take the pressure off the tires and grab spring and rotate. That is only if it has a fox shock. You might have to replace it. I had to do that from a 8' jump I did. Popped the shock. Hard landing.

if it still sags after you tighten it. Most likely you will need to replace it. They run around the 300 buck mark. But, you will have to swap out springs yourself or get the dealer to do it.

THe FOX setup will sag.But it is designed like that.Start with the setting in the center then work tighter or looser until when you hit a big bump it doesnt bottom out.

If it does need to be replaced can it just be rebuilt?
