Default '08 500 efi, gonna grease it..

Besides buying the grease, any trick to greasing where it says to? Do I just grease over the fitting, or do I remove the fitting first?
TIA, This is the first I've attempted to do this!

Default Grease

Fit the nozzle from the grease gun over the fitting and give it a few pumps but don't pump in so much that it comes out of the rubber boots.

What do you ride?

When greasing there are zerk fittings no need to take the fittings off, just grease the zerks and go.

The main point of greasing it. Is to push out water, so I say grease till you see grease then stop. a greasable part has seals that are intended to keep water out not grease in. so it does no harm to push out some grease.
