110 Mimi Quad Suspension Lube
#1
Hi again all; here’s my next neubee question. Pullin the carb this past Sunday gave me a chance to look things over pretty good after it’s had a couple of hours of run time. I was pleased to see that most of the nuts were nylock lock nuts and those that weren’t were castle nuts with cotter pins. I noticed there was no grease on any of the tie rod ends, a-arm pivots, or the swing arm pivot. Should there be and if so what should I use, lithium grease or axel grease?

Quads and dirt bikes from Japan dont come new with a lot of grease on their pivot points either...I use a waterproof/marine grease on my toys. A little insight to Chinese nyloc nuts...like everything else on a Chinese ATV, they only look the part...might work if you dont ever take the nut off...if you ever take it off, use blue loctite..

Thanks for the warning on the nylocs mywifesquad, when I do the zerks I'll replace with new.
Here in Southern Maryland most of the water is brackish so it’s marine grease on everything boat, boat trailer, car, truck, motorcycle, lawnmower, weed wackier, anything that doesn’t take lithium. I just buy the bug tub of it.
Hay your all over this forum and doin a great job too. Thanks again.

No; I've got an old Homelight I bought at a yard sale 25 years ago. As you can imagine I've been through a few trimmer heads. As long as I've got it apart that far I pull, clean and grease the shaft
