I am still trying to get my 94 2 cycle started. The question I have is that on the carb there are two vent lines one on the bottom with a small filter and one on the top of the carb. My question is do they connect to something or are they just vent lines? The one on top had the end melted so I cut the bad area away and just let it hang there? The one on the bottom I guess is for overflow. Thanks, Mitch

 

They originally tied together,but you can just route the upper line up away from water entry,its just a vent,plus the bottom line is an overflow line with a one way filter,just let it hang down. Common thing for them to come apart. OPT
