The first thing I would do is check for spark. Do you have spark? Do you know how to do this?

What is the history of the quad? Did it suddenly stop starting, or did this get gradually worse over time? Is this a spring time phenomenon after sitting over the winter?

Also, what do you mean by not starting? Is it not cranking over at all or does it crank and not fire?

I have a 2000 model, it has been great. The only issue I have ever had with it is the crappy airbox on them. I did pull the engine out this winter to rebuild it and freshen it up, ended up not getting to it, cleaned the carb, replaced the air box assembly, and stuck the motor back in.
