Hey guys,
I just had my first atv trip last weekend!! it was pretty sweet! My legs were dying the next day lol It was an 18 mile mountain trail, full of rocks and puddles...bumpy as hell. Does anyone else do riding like this with their ds650??

 

I have a 2003 outlander 400 and most rides i take are 50 miles to a 100 but mostly bud bogging im still hurting from sundays ride going on another saturday with about 30 of my friends so it should be intreasting have fun on yours im wanting to get a bigger on not enough power for me and its getting to the point every time im out the next day im working on it

 

oh yea buddy 90% of the trails i ride on are like that, adjusting your suspension helps with the fatigue either way your going to be tired by the end of the day.

and also put di-electric grease in your connections and go to canadian tire or w/e and pick up some RTV (think thats what its called) and seal your oil pressure sensor and the ones around your thermostat

 

new england is nothing but mountainous rocky, muddy, rooty tight trails- we'll cover between 40 - 60 miles easily per ride (6-7 hours) my wrists are usually the only thing sore the following day.

I ride like that on my DS650 too. You will be sore the next day. LOL

 

haha my buddies all ride like all out ***** to the walls...like 3rd n 4th gear through these damn trails...and we've never ridden them before...im pretty sure i almost went off the mountain, but it was worth it! I think i would enjoy a slightly slower pace the first time around so theres no suprises lol

 

You should always creep threw trails you dont know ,that doesn't mean you need to ride like a bit.ch but definetly be aware and on top of things .before you go real hard threw them, I've experenced barbed wire across trees(some azzholes), cut outs with 80 foot death drops and so much more!
