Default Lt-80 with broken rear end. PICS

My sons LT-80 is breaking at the bolts near the axle. I noticed it one day when he came to a stop it looked the rear end slid or moved opposite the frame.

When I found it,I can pull on the frame and the whole rear end axle moves. It is about to come out but it appears the aluminum housing around the bolt is slowly breaking away on both the top and bottom bolt.

Everything else engine wise is fine. How much would it cost to replace this and where could I find that rear end?

PICS

FYI: I've had them break before. Altho your seems to broke pretty bad, I used to just tighten the bolts back up and run it.

I wonder if drilling that case out just enough to slip a steel sleve in that bolt hole wouldn't help- looks like the alloy case can't take the constant jarring torque of the power train- seeing as both failures happened on the left side of the alloy housing.
Should be easy to find a steel sleeve at any hardware store like true-value with a matching high grade bolt- that should alleviate the squeezing pressure from the bolt on the case- and will give that case a bit more strength to resist the torque.

was that lower mount bolt loose before the damage happened? looks like its not tight at all, which may have caused the extra stress on the upper one that let go

It looks like the bolts were possibly overtightened causing the casting to break.
