Hey folks, (second post after introducing myself… great forum)

Anyone source a replacement washer for the front drive oil drain plug (centralized hillard clutch housing). Polaris parts manual lists it as this --- Asm., Drain Plug (Incl. Plug and Washer) - 3233951.

partzilla and others want over $20 for the plug and washer ….

Its for a 2004.5 Sportsman 500 HO… I'm a OCD type person when it involves fluid change and like to replace the washer/seals when changing fluids.

OPT .. thank you sir .. I was betting you would be the first to reply, your wreath of knowledge of all things polaris is amazing ..

Anyway, I did order a new plug assembly so I could take the washer around and compare it .. so far no joy at TSC, Lowes, Depot, Ace, Oreillys, Autozone.

Go figure, guess I need to keep searching .. strange that polaris does not sell it separately.

If you have some calipers you can measure the inside and out side diameter and order by the package for future use.10pcs New PTFE Teflon Washer Gasket 8 12 2mm | eBay If you had an Elliots hardware stores like we have down here they would have them or would get them for you.. They put Ace to shame on what all they carry.

 

Thank you again .. by my measurements its 16mmx10mmx2mm (outside, inside, thickness) .. I will check the link and see what they have close.
