Default E ton 70 viper problems

Just put new carb and air filter on quad. It will idle fine, but when i hit the throttle it dies out. It will run on full choke, but will die out when letting idle. Checked carb before putting on, jets and float all looked good. Any help would be appreciated. Also, have good fuel flow.

runs on choke is clogged or too small idle (slow) jet. Pull the idle jet from your old carb and make sure it is clean and put in your new carb. Verify jet numbers on them an post.

I considered the new carb cleaned and correctly jetted...yes the jets are numbered. Pilot jets on the side, main jet on the bottom.

Guess we'll see.

FYI: you have yourself a finely made Tiawanese machine.
It's amazing how a lil ocean can separate good machines from less than good..

Yup, and with my old eyes. I usually take a pic of it with my phone and zoom in.

Put main jet from old carb into new carb and that did the trick. Quad runs great now. Thanks for the help.
