Just a quick question, my steering stem is moving up and back down by about an inch, so do I only have to replace the lower steering post support block or do it have to replace the upper bushing too??

Thanks for the answer in advance,

ON MY '96 TRAILBOSS,THE SAME THING HAPPENED,BUT IT DIDN'T MOVE A WHOLE INCH.THERE IS A RUBBER WASHER BETWEEN TWO STEEL WASHERS AND IT SOMETIMES GETS PUSHED OUT.I REPLACED MINE WITH A THIN "SLICE" OF PVC PIPE AND THAT SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

over greasing the bottom bearing will cause the rubber seal to be forced out and over the steel washers. do not over pressure when greasing that bearing.

It's fixed! I ordered the Hotseat Lower support block. After pulling my stem out I noticed it was bent oh well what's next? The hotseat lsb worked great and was easy to install. Thanks for the replies,
