OK my dealer has service three 650s in the last week with worn out rear sway arm bearings. The culprit seems to be a torn boot on the quads. It has affected both sides of the quad and the sound seems to be coming from straight under you when it thumps or bumps. Also he told me today to check my front shocks for bending as I am a big guy and he has seen this happening as well.

Mine thumps when the front wheels come of the ground I figured it was the front shocks extending all the way has anyone else had this problem

It is the struts topping out. At least that is what it is on mine. I have chrome steel wheels with 589's. This makes it even worse! Try yanking up on the front rack hard and see if this is what you are hearing. If it is, then it is no big deal. As far as bent struts, I weigh 226 & jump mine all the time & the only thing I have bent is other people out of shape because their quad does not have the power to do the things a P650 can! The clicking is the disc brakes. Try pulling and pushing on a front wheel & see if this is the clicking. If it is, then no big deal!

I am getting the same clicking noise when I put pressure on the top or bottom of the wheel . Should I worry? (400 Prairie)

I also just recently started hearing a noise coming from my front end. I too have itp c series rims and 589's and now if I go over a big log or sommin and hit it and the front comes up hard i hear a loud noise coming from somewhere in the steering. I hear nothing in the rear though. My belt is chirping like mad at takeoff, but who cares. I'll ride the rest of the year liek it is. I'm glad i got a extended warranty =)

Bluerhino and Lackdog, my 650 does the same thing when I pull a wheelie or get the front end light over a log or something. You're right when you say it is the front shocks topping out.

If you hear it by just standing on the floorboards and shaking it when it's not moving then it is your Arm bolt is loose and should be tightened thats what is hard on bearings.

The clicking I hear sounds like it's comming from the disk brake area.
