Default whats with the 700 Belt???

Well I run a 700 belt on my Scrambler I did it cause I like the idea it was spliceless and it had top gogs for better cooling , the top gogs also generate more air flow comin out of the exhaust for the clutch thus making it more unlikey of getting water or snow in. My results with it have been very good although it was not designed for the Scrambler I found I get better belt grip with it and may have gained on top abit but old belt was glazed abit from being smoked a few times so any new belt would have helped will I get another for sure if this one holds up good but I do not have enough miles on it yet to know for sure.
Hope This Helps

I have also heard that it was a much better belt. My belt I use on my Scrambler is a top cog from Aaen Performance and I love it, so If that belt is anywhere close to it, it's gotta be good. If you could get that from Polaris for cheaper than aftermarket, I would do it too. Of course my belt is Kevlar re-infoced which eats up clutches, but It doesn't slip!! So, if the 700 factory is half as good without the kevlar it is better than the other factory belts. Anything is better than the factory belt though!! It is stronger than the standard belt, and runs cooler. Lasts longer, and because it doesn't get hot as easy, usually gives more consistant performance.

so you guys are saying, you dont have to adjust/modify anything to use this belt, will it rub on the outer case?

THanks, Haz!

It should fit OK, but keep in mind, it is designed for machines with EBS. If you don't have EBS, I am not 100% sure it will fit.

Sometime in 03 Polaris released a spliceless belt that is the same compound as the 700/600 belt. The two belts differ in the side angle. Check to see if polaris has this belt for your scrambler. Running the wrong angle is not the best. If it were, why would Polaris realease another belt?
