Default Stock Rappy and V at dunes

I got to see the race of stock rappy and V-force at south jetty yesterday up comp hill! just to get to the point ill just tell you that the rappy was faster. The V was at the back of the rappys tires at the top of the hill. I'm not starting a flame just lettin people that were curious about it know. So if you have nothing good to say dont post. The V looked like it was doin pretty good though, he got stuck a couple times doin some turn arounds on the hill but other than that it looked like it got around.

Well in the sand the V's wieght may be a issue. In the dirt and woods of Georgia the V comes as the winner most of the time (depending on the rider).

Sounds pretty close to what I've experienced. On the longer/steeper hills the V would get out in front but the Raptor would pass around the 70% mark.

I raced a pipped Raptor alot (friend) at Winchester. The large hill at the SE corner of Winchester (The Wall) The Raptor would just catch me at the top, but I'm thinking if an experienced shifter was riding, it probably would have been alot different.

I haven't had any trouples turning the beast on any hilld though.

Big Bubba.....What kind of paddles was the V running?

There both great machines. I love the V's power, stability and ease of riding. Matches my style.....Lazy Rider

Raptors are great for the kids, V-FORCE for the men.

OrangeCrusher: I think he was running haulers (or something similar)

Force: STFU you just wanna start a flame. You cant even compair these machines cause they are so different when you consider what the rider is looking for. Ask a V rider what he wants in his bike then ask a Raptor rider I bet you get totally different answers. They are both great machines for what they are made for!

I agree...both machines fall into a different caterogory. So far, the V-force seems like a really nice and quick atv.....but again, suited towards a different audience....which is good move for Kawasaki (IMO) and that niche audience. It's a good time for sport atv's......which was all brought about by the 400ex. Maybe and hopefully Honda will raise the bar for affordable, performance oriented atv's soon once again.

Cause it just freakin came out! DUH! You can just go out and buy a 3 year old rappy for cheaper, you have to buy a pretty much brand new V even if its a little used!
