Default Clutching??

I want to change the preload on the secondary clutch spring, do you need a special tool to take off the clutch or just undo the nut and all easy to do like a snowmobile clutch (I think the spring is behind the clutch if I am not mistaken) my dealer said there is 3 settings on the little cap and from the factory they come set on the first one but if you move it over one you will get more low end out of it, but what will it do to top and mid end??

doober,

I posted this a while back.....tranny trick....

snochopper added that you can get the Dalton Spring also.....

As for as power or speed loss....at mid or top end....I haven't noticed any. The only thing I noticed is a little more fuel consumption...
